Hello KAXE!! Well it's at that time of the year when I am about fished, skied, and sledded out. You see I'm one of those people who gets bored doing one thing after a while and every new season brings new fun. Now I'm looking forward to golfing, gardening, and morels so I'm off to find some spring. As a former student of the Hutchins (yes I had the honor of both of them!!) I got introduced to EARLY morning visits to the hot ponds for bird watching / phenology and 50 years later, okay maybe 20 years later, I head to the hot ponds and look for spring. I went this last Saturday and so far no good looks, or pics, of golden eyes, swans, and maybe wood ducks (he was only a flash out the corner of my eye on the other side of the river so I couldn't hear him) but here's some cool ones of steam off the river and something GREEN!! ~Rachael from Pokegama
